Just a Thought
People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within.

Academic Studies The inter-semester break is over (already!?). Today the website for my online course "Introduction to Systematic Design of Instruction" became available. After reading the syllabus and course calendar, I have a pretty good idea what I’m in for.

Academic Studies, Graphic Design, Web Development Just a few minutes ago I logged into FSU’s online system (blackboard) and checked my grades for the Spring ‘07 semester. The good news is that half-way through Grad School I still have straight A’s! The bad news is one of them was an A-, so I don’t quite have a 4.0 GPA anymore. Oh well. I’m still doing better than I’d expected, so I’m content.

Academic Studies What a day!! After enduring two comprehensive final exams in the same day, right now I feel like I my mind has gone missing. Either that, or it's so numb that I just can't feel it sloshing around in my head.
The first exam was at 8:00am (way too early for this night-owl) and included questions about Gestalt theory, Semiotics, Primitivism, dots, lines, shapes, textures, fonts, and more elements of Visual Communication.

Academic Studies, Web 2.0 Screenshot: Visual ViewportOn Monday I finished work on the final projects and papers for the Spring '07 academic term at FSU. This concluded about two-weeks straight of "nothing but schoolwork" focus... or so it seemed. The process of setting-up this new blog (doing something completely of my own choosing) has been cathartic -- even though I know that I have final exams later this week.
