Family Life, Travel Best: Having a child very excited about experiencing a new adventure. Worst: Watching the sun start to set as the drive to the campsite takes longer than expected.

Family Life, Travel St. George IslandSix or eight weeks ago, Sarah suggested that we make plans for our first-ever family camping trip. The two of us have talked about the possibility of going on a camping trip ever since we got married. Still, we'd never actually done it. With Joie now two-and-a-half years-old, the possibility of camping is back -- even though some people think we're absolutely nuts for trying with such a young child. Sarah had been talking with friends at work and peeked around online.
