Just a Thought
People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within.

Odd & Unexpected, Travel I never would have believed it, but I saw it with my own eyes. While we were in Thomasville, Georgia on Saturday for the annual Rose Festival, we saw something that caught us by surprise. Right after we parked, we noticed a regular looking, green Golf Cart that had been placed in the service of the local police -- complete with red and blue police lights installed at the top of the windshield. I did a double take and then said, “Sarah, did you see that? It even had lights on top!” We both chuckled and wondered what good a golf cart would do for serious law enforcement work.

Family Life Parade (Alan Walker)Springtime is clearly the time for special events in and around Tallahassee, FL. I guess everyone is preoccupied with FSU sports the rest of the year? (Not me, Go Gators!) Sarah, Joie, and I are enjoying all the activities -- trying to make time to take-in all the local culture.
