Who makes the best chicken?

Last night I took my daughter on a "Joie/Daddy" date. (This means we left Sarah home for some peace and quiet.) I'd already been thinking about doing this when I picked Joie up from daycare. She was in a good mood, but quiet as I put her in my car. So, I asked her, "do you want to do anything special tonight?"

She immediately replied, "I wanna eat at restaurant. Umm... Chick-fil-a!" Which was exactly what I already had in mind.

And now for my first "Tales of Joie's Life" posting!

Last week, Joie's school started sending home daily "comment" cards to let the parents know how their child has been each day, and to let us know if they need more supplies to be brought in. These daily reports are helpful and very much appreciated -- especially since they help us have a meaningful discussion with Joie about her day.

So, here's what we learned TODAY from what is on Joie's report card... and what isn't:
